MURO TATVA was founded to bring together architecture, sustainability, research and education within a single practice. Each discipline offers a different perspective, yet all are connected by a shared belief that thoughtful design begins with understanding place and continues through research, collaboration and lifelong learning.

Our Journey
MURO TATVA began with a friendship built around architecture.
We met as architecture students in India, where long hours in design studios often turned into conversations about cities, buildings and the role architecture plays in shaping everyday life. Those conversations never really ended. As our lives grew together, so did our curiosity, eventually leading us to build both a partnership and a practice.
Over the years, our journey has taken us from India to Europe, where living, studying and working across different cultures has broadened the way we understand the built environment. Experiencing architecture in different contexts has continually challenged our assumptions, strengthened our values and reinforced the importance of designing with sensitivity to place, people and the environment.
Although our professional paths have developed in different directions, they have always remained connected. We approach architecture through the same principles and values, while bringing complementary perspectives to every project. That balance between creative thinking and technical expertise has become one of MURO TATVA's defining strengths.
Today, MURO TATVA is a reflection of that journey—a practice shaped by shared values, continuous learning and the belief that meaningful architecture grows through curiosity, collaboration and a deep understanding of the places we engage with.

Architecture has always been, for me, a way of understanding people through the places they inhabit. I am particularly interested in the relationship between cities, culture and the built environment, exploring how architecture can respond thoughtfully to both its physical and social context. My work brings together architectural design, urban studies and spatial thinking, drawing inspiration from both heritage and contemporary practice to develop meaningful and enduring architectural responses.
Living and working across Europe has broadened my perspective on architecture and reinforced the importance of learning from different cultures, histories and urban environments. Alongside professional practice, I enjoy teaching and creating educational experiences that encourage curiosity, critical thinking and a deeper engagement with architecture. I believe meaningful design begins with understanding—of people, place and the unique character of every context.

Architecture has always fascinated me not only for the spaces it creates, but also for how buildings perform throughout their life. I am particularly interested in the relationship between architecture, engineering and environmental performance, exploring how thoughtful design, material innovation and life cycle thinking can shape buildings that are efficient, adaptable and resource-conscious.
My work bridges technical research and architectural practice, translating complex ideas into practical solutions that strengthen the relationship between design, performance and sustainability. Through my research, I explore lightweight architecture, membrane structures, façade engineering and circular design, with a growing interest in retrofitting existing buildings to improve their environmental performance. I believe the strongest architectural solutions emerge through collaboration, where technical rigour and creative thinking evolve together.
